1. Who we are
Nina Loguinova Piano Academy provides private piano and music instruction at 88 Caspian Ct, Buffalo, New York 14228. In this policy, “Academy,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Nina Loguinova Piano Academy.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information that a parent, guardian, or adult prospective student voluntarily submits through the contact form, including:
- Name, email address, and telephone number.
- A student’s age, experience level, goals, and preferred schedule.
- Other information included in an inquiry or later provided to arrange lessons.
We may also receive basic technical information normally sent by a browser or hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and access times. We do not use this website to build advertising profiles of children.
3. Information concerning children
The Academy teaches children, but this website is directed to parents, guardians, and adults—not to children acting on their own. A child under 13 should not submit a form, send personal information, or contact the Academy through the website without a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly request personal information directly from a child under 13 through this website. When information about a child is needed to evaluate or arrange lessons, it should be provided by the child’s parent or legal guardian.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact the Academy so the information can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.
4. How we use information
Information may be used to:
- Respond to lesson inquiries and communicate with families.
- Evaluate scheduling, student level, and instructional needs.
- Provide, administer, and improve piano instruction.
- Maintain appropriate business, safety, and legal records.
- Protect the website, the Academy, students, and families from misuse or fraud.
5. Student photos and performance videos
Student photographs, names, recordings, or performance videos are not intended to be published on the website or social media without permission from the student’s parent or legal guardian, or from the student directly when the student is an adult.
Any media permission should be handled separately from ordinary lesson enrollment. A parent or guardian may ask that future use stop, subject to reasonable time needed to remove material under the Academy’s control.
6. YouTube and external services
The website may embed videos hosted by YouTube or link to social-media and map services. Those third parties may receive technical information, use cookies, or collect data according to their own privacy policies. The Academy does not control those third-party services.
Embedded videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain when available, but YouTube may still process information when a visitor plays or interacts with a video.
7. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with hosting, email, scheduling, payment, accounting, security, or other service providers; when required by law; or when necessary to protect safety, rights, or property.
8. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for inquiries, lessons, business records, safety, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Parent and guardian choices
A parent or guardian may contact the Academy to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information provided about themselves or their child, subject to records that must reasonably be retained for legal, safety, or business purposes.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
11. Contact
Questions or privacy requests may be submitted through the contact page or by calling 716-870-8468.
This Privacy Policy is intended to support compliance with applicable New York and federal privacy laws governing the collection, use, protection, and disclosure of personal information. Nina Loguinova Piano Academy will update its practices and this policy as legal requirements or website services change.
